In this lecture, our instructor Candyce Mairs addresses the question How Can I Create Web Designs by introducing the process of Web Designing prior to using Dreamweaver: planning your homepage, mobile version, and innerpages, and creating them on any graphics editing program.
A web page always begins with some form of design for the page that is created using a graphics program
I am using Fireworks because it is an Adobe product and I have been using it for years, you can use Photoshop, or any other web graphic program that you are comfortable with
Once the page design is set, it must be converted into HTML and CSS
That process is not covered in this course but Educator.com 2 separate courses available to teach you how to convert your page designs into HTML/CSS from either Fireworks or Photoshop
Be sure that you plan for the homepage, the inner pages and a mobile version of the website
