We are going to create CSS styles for the nav bar hyperlinks
Unvisited hyperlinks are underlined and blue by default
Visited links are purple and underlined by default
CSS can be used to change these properties and add additional ones
There are 4 links states available, link, visited, hover and active in addition to the a tag
These styles are called pseudo-class selectors since they list the tag and a colon in the name and only apply if the hyperlink is within that specific state
The a tag can be styled so the styles apply to all of the hyperlinks, you can be more specific by listing other tags before the a tag in order to modify links within a specific area of the page
We create styles for the unvisited, visited links along with links that have the cursor over them
Create a new internal style for the a tag and modify the color and font-family
The CSS property called text-decoration can remove the underline for hyperlinks
Each hyperlink in our bulleted list will now look the same
You can use a:link, a:visited, a:hover or a:active as selectors to modify hyperlinks within a specific state
