System Requirements
If your video lecture freezes, taking too long to buffer, and/or playing at different intervals. You can solve this problem by simply getting Google Chrome or refreshing your browser.
To view lecture presentations at Educator.com, you will need a minimum screen resolution of 1280 x 768. If our custom interface is cut-off on your monitor, you will need to change your resolution.
Please make sure that the following software is installed on your computer:
Google Chrome 3.0+, Internet Explorer 8.0+, Firefox 3.5+, or Safari 4.0+ or above.
JavaScript and Cookies must also be enabled
Adobe Flash Player 10
If you are still experiencing problems with video playback, we recommend you download and install the latest version of Google Chrome (http://www.google.com/chrome/).
In addition, since our service is largely video based, you will need an Internet connection with sufficient bandwidth. Most of our videos will stream best with a downstream bandwidth of 750 Kbps or higher.
Most non-dialup internet services should suffice, but you can check your bandwidth at http://www.speedtest.net/ (click the location nearest you). Do not worry if the number is small, it may be in Mbps (1000 Kbps).
Basically, if you can watch Hulu or YouTube videos with minimal interruptions, Educator lectures should load fine as well. We designed our system to cater to today's most common internet user
However, be sure to view our free sample lectures to see if you're happy with the speed and performance before you subscribe. It may help if you let the entire lecture load first before jumping around the video if your bandwidth is not optimal.
