Select Lists

  • We will create a drop down list or select box on our form
    • Hit enter/return to add space below the radio buttons
    • Be sure your cursor is in the new row and choose the Select icon from the forms tab
    • Form elements are placed where the cursor is located when you click the icon
    • Enter brochure as the ID and change the word Select to read Request a Brochure:
    • Select the list in Design View and click the List Values button in Properties
    • Add item labels and values to create the list and click OK
  • Preview the page in the browser so you can see what a Select box looks like
  • This one is a single line select box
  • We will add additional text and move it to the top of the list so the user sees Choose a Brochure within the list when the page first loads in the browser
  • Select boxes can also be changed to allow multiple selections by checking the Multiple checkbox in the Properties panel

Select Lists

Lecture Slides are screen-captured images of important points in the lecture. Students can download and print out these lecture slide images to do practice problems as well as take notes while watching the lecture.
