Linking to an ID Selector

  • All hyperlinks move the user to the top left corner of a web page
  • We want to be able to move the user up and down the same page
  • You can do this by adding IDs for content on the page and then link to that ID within hyperlinks in order to allow the user to move to links within the page
  • This allows us to link to anywhere on a web page
  • Use the id that includes the # sign in the link area instead of a page name
