VI. Polynomial Functions: Lecture 6 | 19:23 min
In this lecture Professor Fraser will teach you how to Solve Polynomial Equations. After an overview of Factoring Polynomials, you will cover the Sum and Difference of Two Cubes before moving into the Quadratic Form.
QuickNotes™
Solving Polynomial Equations
When factoring, always factor completely.
Always begin factoring by factoring the greatest common factor, and then factor the remaining expression.
If the polynomial has 4 terms, try factoring by grouping.
Factor trinomials by trial and error.
