Hi I have a question I did a acid base extraction and I messed up in the beginning of the lab  project , however I added too much HCL, so I had to start over again  I got as far as collecting my basic, acidic and neutral, I ended putting my acidic solvent in the ice bath, however the class ended, and I had to leave my solution  sitting in lab with small crystals that were presently forming . Lab is not until next week will my acidic solution be okay sitting in the lab  covered until next week or, should I ask instructor fore new mixture of compounds?
