Aspire Pacific College Preparatory Academy is a charter school that opened in Huntington in 2010 to provide students in 9th through 12th grades with a college prep curriculum. The school provides a learning environment that offers personal lesson plans that promote life long learners. Aspire Pacific College Preparatory Academy is part of the Aspire Public Schools network, which one of the top performing schools in the nation serving low-income families.

Students that attend Aspire schools are provided with a challenging curriculum that meets their style of learning and will ensure they meet requirements to enter a college or university. One of the popular programs found at Aspire Public Schools that is helping many at risk students achieve a college education is the College for Certain education.

The Aspire Pacific College Preparatory Academy offers the same lesson plans as other schools in the network, which include distributed practice, massed practice, inquire, project based instruction, explicit instruction, apprenticeship, and problem solving.

Parents are glad that the school opened to help their children learn the skills needed to enroll in college. The school works with students and provides a variety of grants and other incentives to help students prepare for their college years both academically and socially. Students enjoy learning in a small close-knit environment with encouraging and caring teachers and staff. The only complaint was the lack of extra curricular activities, student clubs, and sports.
