Creating DIV Tags with IDs

  • The boxes in the box model are created either by html tags or we can create our own boxes
  • We can put any content into a box we make
  • We can also style it as we want
  • We can color these boxes with background colors & images
  • The browser must be able to understand which box you want to style in a particular way
  • We do that by giving the box an "id" we use to give each box a unique name
  • Before we begin to work in Dreamweaver on the coding, we must plan out our boxes and where we want to position them based on information the browser can understand
