Variable Scope

  • Many errors occur because of variable scope
  • Variables declared in a Sub are only in scope while that Sub is executing
  • Variables declared at the Module level are in scope throughout the Module
  • To have a variable changeable in a different Sub than the one that declared it, you have to pass the value ByRef (by reference)
