The link to the newspaper exercise file is broken.  For it to work the address must be lowercase, eg.

Audio & Video Transitions

  • The most-used Transitions are
    • Fade to Black
    • Fade to White
    • Crossfade
    • Cut
  • Having handles on your video gives you greater flexibility in the editing bay
  • Drag a Transition from the Effects Panel to the spot where you want to use it
  • Use A/B mode to fine-tune the transition
  • The “Spinning Newspaper” has been used in movies for decades
  • The “Iris Transition” has also been used to great effect for decades
