In this lesson our instructor talks about paths. He discusses line segment, arc tool, pen tool, convert anchor point tool and working with points. In addition, he also talks about smooth path, scissor tool, divide, split paths, and simplify paths.
Segments of a path have a start and end point called an anchor point.
An anchor point is used to manipulate a line segment.
An open path has unconnected anchor points.
A closed path has connected anchor points.
A smooth anchor point connects two curved segments.
A corner anchor point connects straight or curved segments with a direction change.
