Default Fixed Effects, Part 1

  • Keyframes indicate changes to your effects
  • The Position value indicates where the clip is in respect to the frame
  • The Anchor Point allows you to change where the pivot point is for a clip
  • The Scale changes the size of your clip
  • The Rotation uses the anchor point as its pivot point, allowing you to rotate your clip within the frame
  • The Opacity value indicates how opaque your clip is (how much you can see through it)
  • The Blend modes work just like they do in Photoshop
  • Black & White converts your clips to grayscale
  • Gaussian Blur blurs your clips
  • Picture in Picture gives you an “over the shoulder” effect for your videos
  • Audio Gain can increase or lower the volume of your clips
    • Is applied before any other effects are applied to your audio
