In this lesson our instructor talks about viewing option s and magnetic layout. First, he discuses document view, panorama views, page margins, layout marks, note colors, voice colors, and window. Lastly, he talks about the magnetic layout and its function.
Document View: Under view tab you can see the group called document view.
Panorama View displays your score as a single continues system on a wide page
Page Margins: Under the view tab we can turn on/off the page margins
Layout Marks is a feature that shows certain breaks you lock your score with, such as locking 4 bars as layout in the score.
Note Colors: There are two different selections we could make with note colors options
Notes out of range: If a not is too high or low for range of this instrument
Voice Colors: Under Note Colors group, another option youll see is the voice colors
Window: You can choose different viewing options under your Window tab
Magnetic Layout: You can toggle on/off the magnetic layout feature is Sibelius under the Layout tab.

Lecture Slides are screen-captured images of important points in the lecture. Students can download and print out these lecture slide images to do practice problems as well as take notes while watching the lecture.
Avid Sibelius 7 is the top music notation software and manages to have a clean and simple interface while containing a plethora of tools for music writing. This version also includes MusicXML, allowing users to collaborate.
For learners who have an older version of Sibelius, this is the upgrade option from Avid. Note that the purchaser must have the serial number from their previous versions to register and use the update.
