In this lesson, our instructor Evren Edler gives an introduction to transport window, MIDI & score editor. He explains what are transport windows and how to use it, counters & MIDI controls. He explains how to set up the tempo or meter in a session as well as the metronome. Lastly, he goes over additional editor windows such as MIDI & score editor.
Transport Window: provides
buttons for various transport functions similar to a DVD or CD
MIDI Editor: MIDI Editor
windows are for detailed MIDI composition and editing tracks.
Score Editor: Score editor
window lets you view, edit, arrange, and print MIDI data from your
session as music notation. Score Editor transcribes MIDI notes in
real time and provides tools for navigating and editing them in the
Transport Window, MIDI & Score Editor
Lecture Slides are screen-captured images of important points in the lecture. Students can download and print out these lecture slide images to do practice problems as well as take notes while watching the lecture.
