Post University Review!

“Student-Focused” and “Career-Driven” best describes the Post University. The curriculum and all educational endeavors at this university are geared towards inculcating the competitive edge, imparting knowledge and increasing confidence levels in students – qualities that are essential to fulfill professional roles and achieve success in today’s world.  While academics are followed stringently, practical experience is given utmost importance.  Students are also given ample scope to not only learn about their chosen subjects, about themselves, as well as the career options available to them.  Most important is the small classes with highly experienced faculty and the resources needed to give each student the personal attention they need.

Post University was founded in Connecticut during the strong industrial growth period, at the turn of the century in 1980. It was a business school that provided training and education to local workers, enabling them to handle the needs of the blossoming industries. Today, the school has grown and is an excellent choice for career-minded people.  It offers several undergraduate and graduate programs.  The main campus is in Waterbury, Connecticut, and also operates satellite campuses in Danbury and Meriden.

Students of Post are given plenty of opportunity to advance their careers through a variety of majors offered. The college is also licensed to grant everything up to Master’s degrees in several areas. Associate’s, Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees are offered in Business, Criminal Justice, Legal Studies, Information Technology, Sport Management, Social Services and Equine Business Management.  Large co-op programs have been put in place for the final year students, to help them get into industry positions and businesses, where they gain the necessary experience while in college itself.  Out of the 700 Campus students, many live on-campus and they are encouraged to live there and take part in community, social and athletic activities offered by the university. Post University received accreditation by the New England Association of Schools and College, Inc. through its Commission on Institutions of Higher Education.

Post also offers Accelerated Online Degree Programs for students who wish to complete their undergraduate or graduate degree from home, studying at an accredited university. These online courses are highly interactive, and not restricted to assignments, students also get a chance to hear to the lectures by professors. The accelerated pace of eight weeks to complete their courses, allows students to earn degrees and get on with their professional lives as early as possible.  The majors offered to online students are many and include Criminal Justice, Accounting, Human Services and many more.

Post University is one step ahead of the other colleges.  It prepares today’s students for tomorrow’s careers! All instructional material and programs designed at the university are aimed at the fulfillment of students’ educational, career and personal goals. Upon graduating from the university, students step out into the world with immense confidence, proud of their scholarly achievements, high level of competence and raring to take over top positions in the professional fields of their choice and interest, in the global market place.
