The Mission Preparatory School Review

The Mission Preparatory School opened in 2011 to provide students in the area in kindergarten through 8th grades with a college-preparatory educational program. The school opened as the need to provide this type of educational program was needed in the community. Families as well as the community are very pleased that the school opened here and is giving students the opportunity to prepare for the remainder of their educational years in a safe learning environment.

The school does not offer any extra curricular activities, student clubs, or sports. Some students stated they would like the opportunity to participate in sports and hope the school adds some soon.

Parents are very happy with the curriculum and notice their children are learning every well. Some parents remarked that their children are excited about getting up and going to school. Teachers and staff are very well liked and are devoted to their students. A few of the students expressed that the curriculum is challenging which makes it more fun.

The Academic Performance Index was not available at the time of this writing. The statewide goal is 800.

The California Standards Tests is used to learn if students are mastering core subjects. The various tests are given to 2nd through 11th grades in English, grades 2nd through 7th are given tests in math, and science tests are administered to students in grades 5th, 8th, and 10th, while history tests are given to students in 8th and 11th grades.

The percentage of students passing the exams was not available

According to the comments of parents, the school is providing a quality education in a safe and nurturing environment. To ensure the school is the right fit for your child, you should learn more about the results of the exams and take a tour of the school.
