School for Integrated Academics and Technologies – Tucson Review

The School for Integrated Academics and Technologies is a public charter school that has campuses across the nation. The campus in Tucson was opened in 2002 for students in 9th and 12th grades with an average enrollment of 150 students per year. The school offers a school that is open year round to ensure students have the opportunity to earn the credits needed to graduate while providing a flexible schedule. The School for Integrated Academics and Technologies offers a multi cultural student centered learning environment where students will become life long learners and productive members of society. The curriculum is blends technology with academics.

The school provides a computer for every student and is proud that they have one teacher for every 11 students per teacher. This helps the students receive any personal attention they need to learn and grow. The academic program centers on numeracy and literacy along with life skills, job readiness, and technology skills.

The school has a proven record across the US in which over 12,000 students that were listed as dropouts have graduated and earned their accredited high school diploma.

Parents and students are happy with the school, administration, and curriculum that helps students succeed. Students are very pleased that they can work and earn their diploma at the same time.

In the state of Arizona in order to graduate high school, students must pass the AIMS series of exams in 10th grade. The percentage of tenth graders at the Tucson campus that passed the exam in reading and math was 0%, in science the percentage was higher than state average, in writing the percentage was below average

Since the percentage of students, passing the exam in reading and math was zero it would be best to learn more about the curriculum before enrolling your child.
