San Pedro Valley High School is a charter school that allows students to choose their own schedule and even attend school from home on their computer to accommodate their needs. The school works with students on an individual basis to ensure their needs are met for academic success as well as to instill the desire to be life long learners. The school allows for only 4 hour days which helps students that are working still achieve their goals of a high school diploma. The curriculum is challenging, teachers are supportive and motivate students to do their best, and the administration works to ensure that each student has the educational tools needed to reach their goals.
Students truly enjoy attending school, where they express teachers help them work toward graduating early if that is their goals. Staff and administration are very helpful and the school is a safe family oriented learning environment. Parents are very pleased with the opportunities the school has brought not only to their children but also to the community as a whole.
The percentage of students passing the AIMS exams was 100% in reading and writing was above average while math and science were below average.
