Roseland Accelerated Middle School opened in Lakeside in 2003 to offer families the opportunity to provide their middle school children with a curriculum that focuses on high school and beyond. The school is for students in 7th and 8th grades.
The school schedule is based on taking young students and turning them into leaders. There are also field trips and assemblies where students get out of the classroom and express their school cheer as well as their creativity. At Roseland there are also sports programs, cheer, performing arts courses and a variety of electives.
Parents are very pleased with the teaching formats offered as the school takes a different approach with its middle school students. They focus on high school, college and the workforce creating a well-rounded student at a young age. The teachers are very supportive of each student. The students say that the curriculum is challenging, but fun as well.

Since the exam scores are not available it would be a great idea to talk with administration to learn how many students are passing the exams. Talking with other parents that have students enrolled in the school make help; you make an educated decision for your child.
