RCB High School – Phoenix Review

RCB High School in Phoenix is a charter school that allows students in grades 9th through 12th grades the opportunity with the opportunity to graduate high school and be prepared to enter a career in the technical or health industries or attend post secondary education. The school opened in 2000 with an average enrollment of 200 students per year.

The school offers a unique instructional method, behavioral management, and flexible scheduling. The school works with students that have not been supported in traditional schools to help them reach their goals and visions with their academic studies, employment skills, and medical skills that will help students be successful for their college years, in the workplace, and in life.

The school goes beyond the traditional school setting and curriculum by providing students with the opportunity to enter the workforce with their Certified Nursing Assistant, Pharmacy Technician, and other medical programs. Instead of paying to attend community colleges or other programs, RCB High School offers these programs free of charge for high school students.

Parents are very pleased with the curriculum and the way in which the students can be prepared for a career they can be proud of and enjoy. The staff, teachers, and administration are very friendly and caring. The school is very safe and provides all the educational tools students need to succeed.

Tenth grade students participated in the AIMS series of tests, which measure if students have mastered core subjects. All percentages were below state averages in reading, writing, science, and math.

Before enrolling your child in the school, it would be best to learn more about the reason the percentages were low. In order to graduate high school, students in 10th grade must pass all sections of the AIMS exams.
