Paul Revere Charter Middle School Review

Paul Revere Charter Middle School opened in 1995 to provide the community with a curriculum based upon the Palisades LEARN/Charter petition. The school serves students in 6th through 8th grades. The school prepares students for their educational future with an emphasis on math, science, and technology.

Along with core subjects, the school offers a variety of extracurricular activities. These include clubs like cheer, go green, ping-pong, poetry and tennis, to name a few. Students can also participate in leadership council, music and drama inspired courses. Both parents and students agree that the activities offered are great but would like to see some sports offered such as football and baseball.

Parents are thrilled with the curriculum and the activities offered at Paul Revere Charter Middle School. The school has a score of 9 out of 10 on the internet. The teachers are well liked and dedicated to teaching. Parents are seeing improvements in their children’s schoolwork which is very important to their success.

The Academic Performance Index showed an increase of 22 points from the previous year to a score of 897. The statewide goal is 800. Parents are very pleased with the number and are loving the increase as well.

The California Standards Tests is used to learn if students are mastering core subjects. The various tests are given to 2nd through 11th grades in English, grades 2nd through 7th are given tests in math, and science tests are administered to students in grades 5th, 8th, and 10th, while history tests are given to students in 8th and 11th grades.

The percentage of students passing the exams was above the state averages for the 6th, 7th and 8th grade students at Paul Revere Charter Middle School.

The school is providing students with the success to make them great students. The teachers would love to meet you and your family and take you on a tour of the school.
