The school offers core classes along with a rigorous curriculum. The teachers are very dedicated and well educated as reported by parents.

Parents cannot say enough good things about Mountain View Montessori Charter School. Parents also felt good about sending their kids to school and actually felt like the staff wanted them there. The teachers were also a big plus. They are friendly and very helpful.

The students like going to school which is also a benefit to parents. Even the students notice that they are improving in every subject and they love that feeling. They also get to work independently which is a great way to show how much they have learned.

The Academic Performance Index showed showed neither a decease nor increase in academic growth. The score was a 762 and the state average is 800.

The California Standards Tests is used to learn if students are mastering core subjects. The various tests are given to 2nd through 11th grades in English, grades 2nd through 7th are given tests in math, and science tests are administered to students in grades 5th, 8th, and 10th, while history tests are given to students in 8th and 11th grades.

The test results for Mountain View Montessori Charter School showed a mixture of scores. For example 48% of 3rd graders passed the English Language exam and the state average was the same. In 5th grade, 23% of students passed the Math exam with the state average at 65%.

Overall, the school is providing one of the best educations in the area. However, it would be a good idea to learn more about the Montessori Method of teaching before enrolling your child.
