Lincoln Elementary is a charter school that opened in 1996 to provide students in 2nd and 3rd grades with a unique learning curriculum. Students in these grades are often overlooked when it comes to providing a quality curriculum as the higher grades are usually emphasized in most schools. Lincoln Elementary ensures that all students receive the attention they need within a safe and nurturing learning environment that will help them throughout their school years.
At this time, Lincoln Elementary does not offer extra curricular activities, sports or other programs.
Parents really like the atmosphere and the teachers that really take an interest in each student on an individual basis. The school is safe with devoted and caring staff. Students like going to school and learning.
The Academic Performance Index showed academic growth from 850 to 853. The statewide goal is 800.
The California Standards Tests is used to learn if students are mastering core subjects. The various tests are given to 2nd through 11th grades in English, grades 2nd through 7th are given tests in math, and science tests are administered to students in grades 5th, 8th, and 10th, while history tests are given to students in 8th and 11th grades. The percentage of students passing the exams was above state averages in both 2nd and 3rd grades and in all subjects.
The school is providing an exceptional education that is helping students adjust to school in a nurturing environment. If you have any concerns you should talk with other parents that have students enrolled before you enroll your child.
