Lennox Mathematics Science and Technology Academy opened in 2003 for grades 9th through 12th. The focus of the school is on the Latino population. They specialize in the education of the sciences, mathematics and technology.

Among science, math and technology classes students can participate in band, computer arts, orchestra, dance, drawing/painting, Spanish, newspaper, student council/government, community service, yearbook, science and technology as well as vocational programs in technology. Sports include soccer, basketball, cheerleading, martial arts/self defense, softball, and baseball and physical education classes.

Parents of Lennox Mathematics Science and Technology Academy love the inspiring teachers, small classes and the best principal ever. The students say the same things. Both are very impressed with the school.

The Academic Performance Index showed an increase in academic growth from 774 to 790. The statewide goal is a score of 800.

The California Standards Tests is used to learn if students are mastering core subjects. The various tests are given to 2nd through 11th grades in English, grades 2nd through 7th are given tests in math, and science tests are administered to students in grades 5th, 8th, and 10th, while history tests are given to students in 8th and 11th grades.

The test results for the students at Lennox Mathematics Science and Technology Academy showed highs and lows. For example, on the 10th grade Algebra II exam 53% of students passed. The state average was 42%. On the Science exam, in the same grade 40% passed against the 53% state average.

For the California High School Exit Exam the students passed both the English and Math exams with a 94% beating the state averages.
