John Adams Academy opened in 2012 as a charter school that would provide students in kindergarten through 12th grades with an exceptional education offering a curriculum that is diverse and challenging. The school utilizes the teaching, mentoring, and applying the principles of freedom and ensures students understand the constitution, politics, and the economy. The school strives to reintegrate the concept of “Men are endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights”
Along with core subjects, John Adams Academy offers a variety of other programs to help students enjoy their educational years including drama, Club of Natural Sciences, glee club, journalism club, rifle club, chess club, knitting club, and Just Dance Club. The school also offers a terrific visual arts and theater programs as well as other events throughout the school year.
Parents really like the school all the great activities and events the school offers for students and parents. The curriculum is amazing stated a few parents. The unique way in which teachers work with students is amazing. Students said they love the school and that teachers are very nice.

The California Standards Tests is used to learn if students are mastering core subjects. The various tests are given to 2nd through 11th grades in English, grades 2nd through 7th are given tests in math, and science tests are administered to students in grades 5th, 8th, and 10th, while history tests are given to students in 8th and 11th grades.
The results of the exams were not available at this time.
