Great Valley Academy – Manteca opened in 2011 for students in grades Kindergarten through 8th. This school works side by side with the community to meet the needs of the students. They support each child’s needs and education individually to get maximum results.

With the core subjects at the forefront Great Valley Academy sees every child’s potential and works to strengthen it. The school even offers an after school program from 6:30 am to 6:00 pm with both fine and large motor activities available. Other classes include music, physical education classes, Spanish and business for the older students where they can earn salaries and learn about living in the real world.

The parents of Great Valley Academy in Manteca love the dedication and dependability of each teacher. It shows that they really do care. They offer longer school hours and more days to give your child the extra care and attention they need to strive. The teachers even eat with the students. Students expressed they really like going to school.

The Academic Performance Index showed a steady pace of 800 which is exactly on target with where the state of California wants all of its schools to be.

The California Standards Tests is used to learn if students are mastering core subjects. The various tests are given to 2nd through 11th grades in English, grades 2nd through 7th are given tests in math, and science tests are administered to students in grades 5th, 8th, and 10th, while history tests are given to students in 8th and 11th grades. The testing data for the CST is not available at this time.

Great Valley Academy – Manteca is doing a fair job of providing the educational tools needed for students to succeed, however, since the test results are not available it would be a good idea to take a tour of the school before enrolling your child.
