Educational Outreach Academy Review

Educational Outreach Academy also known as Red Bluff High School opened as a charter school in 2008. The school offers a quality education for students in 9th through 12th grades with an average enrollment of 63 students per year. The school offers one on one instruction as well as small group instruction, independent study, online curriculum, and textbook curriculum. The school allows dual enrollment so students can take high school and college courses at the same time.

Along with core subjects, Educational Outreach Academy offers an after school program known as ASSET that offers students the opportunity to join various activities including rock band, performing arts, gamers haven, homework help, tutoring, science club, math club, weight training, and exit exam prep. Other programs and sports offered include cheerleading, band, basketball, wrestling, soccer, and alpine.

Parents are very pleased with the way in which their children are excelling. The teachers are very helpful and devoted to provide students with the one on one attention needed to help them succeed. The online classes, explained by students are amazing and really help them work on gaining the knowledge and credits needed to succeed.

The Academic Performance Index showed a decline in academic growth from 699 to 606. The goal statewide is a score of 800.

The California Standards Tests is used to learn if students are mastering core subjects. The various tests are given to 2nd through 11th grades in English, grades 2nd through 7th are given tests in math, and science tests are administered to students in grades 5th, 8th, and 10th, while history tests are given to students in 8th and 11th grades.
The percentage of students passing the exams at Educational Outreach Academy was under state average or was not available at the time of this writing.

The percentage of students passing the California Exit Exam, which is given to 10th graders to test their skills in math and English Language Arts. The percentage of students at Educational Outreach Academy that passed the Math exam was 100% with the state average at 84% and in English Language Arts 85% with the state average at 83%.

The school is providing a quality education for students to be prepared for the remainder of their educational years and beyond. To ensure the school is the best alternative for your child it would be a good idea to take a tour of the school.
