The school provides educational opportunities to a multi-cultural and diverse student body with a large percentage of students coming from low income and middle income families in the area. The student body is 63.1% are Hispanic or Latino, 31.4% African-American, Asian or Pacific Islander 3.3% and Caucasian 2.3%.
