Destiny School Review

Destiny School opened in 1995 to provide a hands-on training center as an alternative to public education in Globe. The school has on average 255 students in kindergarten through 8th grades enrolled per year. The curriculum focuses on core subjects such as math, science, oral communications, written communications, and computer applications.

Along with core subjects the school offers extracurricular activities and clubs for students that wish to participate including computer arts, chorus, yearbook, student council, and newspaper. Sports offered at Destiny School include physical education classes, baseball, volleyball, basketball, softball, ultimate Frisbee, football, and cross country.

Most parents recommend and state that Destiny School is great. The students are provided with a nurturing and safe environment where teachers are attentive and willing to help each student succeed. Parents expressed their overall recommendation of the school where their children are happy to go to school and are doing very well accomplishing their goals. The staff and administration are very helpful and listen to concerns of all parents and work toward providing the best educational environment in which students can excel.
