Dailey Elementary Charter School opened in 2010 for students in kindergarten through 5th grades. The school provides an alternative to traditional schools by giving students the opportunity to attend a safe learning environment. The emphasis is centered on the whole child instead of just academics thus ensuring students receive a well-rounded education that caters to their own personal needs. Along with a challenging curriculum, the school focuses on international understanding and responsible citizenship. The school works toward instilling compassionate and critical thinkers that become lifelong learners.

The structured curriculum integrates a variety of disciplines that work with the whole child as well as provide local and global issues within the curriculum.

At this time, the school does not offer any extra curricular activities, sports, or student clubs besides physical education.

The comments from parents are mixed with some truly loving the school and teachers while others are not as happy with the curriculum. Some parents stated that the school does not offer much more than traditional school only smaller class sizes. While other parents stated their children are learning more and very interested in school. Students like attending school and stated they like their teachers.

The Academic Performance Index showed academic growth from 938 to 950.

The California Standards Tests is used to learn if students are mastering core subjects. The various tests are given to 2nd through 11th grades in English, grades 2nd through 7th are given tests in math, and science tests are administered to students in grades 5th, 8th, and 10th, while history tests are given to students in 8th and 11th grades.
The percentage of students passing the exams at Dailey Elementary Charter School was above average in all grades and across all subjects.

With the percentage of students passing the exams across the board and the comments from parents and students, the school is providing an excellent opportunity for students to excel.
