College Ready Academy HS # 14 is part of the Alliance College-Ready Public Schools, which is the largest nonprofit charter organization in Los Angeles. This campus opened in 2011 and serves students in 9th through 12th grades. The college prep curriculum is challenging and offers students a rewarding standards-based education. The network of schools includes both high schools and middle schools serving mainly low-income students.

College Ready Academy HS # 14 offers small classes and personalized learning environments, which are determined by the teacher, student, and parents to ensure the learning style, will fit the needs of each student personally. The Alliance College-Ready Public Schools student body is comprised of 87% are Latino and 13% are African American with 22% being English-Language Learners.

At this time, the school does not offer any extra curricular activities, sports, or student clubs.

Parents are excited about the opportunity their children are given by this school that helps them succeed, earn their high school diploma, and go onward to college. Parents expressed the teachers and staff is very caring and work one on one with students to help them reach their goals. Students are excited to go to school and stated the teachers are great, very helpful, and the school is safe.

The results of the Academic Performance Index, the California Standards Tests, and the California High School Exit Exam were not available at the time of this writing.

The Alliance College-Ready Public Schools overall since their beginning in 2004 have seen 96% of their seniors graduate with 99% of entering college.

The school is providing a great education that prepares students for colleges, universities, and to become productive members of their community. It would still be a good idea to visit the school and take a tour before making your final decision on enrolling your child to ensure the school learning environment is one that will fit the needs of your child.
