The student body is 99% Latino/Hispanic in grades kindergarten through 12th grades. On average the school has 320 students enrolled which allows for small class size. The curriculum meets California state standards while focusing on career oriented school work.

Along with core subjects, Casa Ramona Academy for Technology, Community and Education offers extra curricular activities which include dance, orchestra, band, and computer arts. The languages offered include Italian, French, Spanish, and Latin. Sports offered include golf, swimming, soccer, rock climbing, and physical education classes. Other programs available include newspaper, debate, community service, multimedia, academic contests, science & technology, student government, and yearbook. The school also offers vocational program which includes professional child care, technology, health careers, and law enforcement.

Students expressed that the teachers are great and work with you on a personal basis to help you succeed. Most students stated that the staff including the principal is very nice and friendly. Parents are very happy with the progress they are seeing with their children and just how much they attending school. The environment is family oriented and safe.

The Academic Performance Index showed a decline in academic performance from 716 to 654. The California Standards Tests is used to learn if students are mastering core subjects. The various tests are given to 2nd through 11th grades in English, grades 2nd through 7th are given tests in math, and science tests are administered to students in grades 5th, 8th, and 10th, while history tests are given to students in 8th and 11th grades.
