Aspire Inskeep Academy Charter Review

Aspire Inskeep Academy Charter opened in 2011 to provide students in kindergarten through 6th grades with an alternative to traditional schools. The school offers lessons plans that are created for the student personally to ensure they can learn in their own style. Aspire Inskeep Academy Charter is part of the Aspire Public Schools. The network of schools is found in various states across the US and is among the top performing schools serving low-income families.

Students that attend one of the schools in the network are provided with caring qualified teachers that want each student to be able to receive the education they need to attend college. Teachers even talk about college in the lower grades to instill the desire to become life long learners. One of the most popular programs seen at the Aspire Public Schools is the College for Certain education. At this time, the program has 12,000 students in schools across the nation with the majority of the student body being at risk of not completing high school.

The Aspire Inskeep Academy Charter uses the same methods of teachings found at all Aspire Schools including distributed practice, massed practice, inquire, project based instruction, explicit instruction, apprenticeship, and problem solving.

Parents are glad that the school opened in their community. Many parents were concerned about their children receiving a proper education and being able to attend college. The school has some of the most caring and nurturing teachers and staff that truly care about the students. The only negative comment is regarding no extra curricular activities including sports or clubs are available.
At the time of this review, there were no published results of the California Standards Tests or Academic Performance Index.

If the school is doing as well as other Aspire Schools, the staff and teachers are working with students and preparing them for their educational years as well as ensuring they are ready for life after school. It would be a good idea to ask about the results of the exams before enrolling your child.
