Population Ecology
Population ecology is the study of the interactions of a population and its environment. Population ecology helps us understand and predict the behavior of populations—from bacteria to humans.
In this Lesson, well look at the spatial and age distributions of organisms that make up the characteristics of a population. Well see how exponential and logistic models are used to predict the growth of populations.
And well investigate how populations are regulated by both density-dependent and density-independent factors.
