Video Capture & Import

  • If you need to capture DV tape, you’ll need a firewire port on your computer
  • If you have a DVD camcorder, you can insert the DVDs from the camera and import directly into Premiere Elements
    • Make sure you “Close” or “Finalize” your disc before removing it from your camera
  • You can also import from several other places:
    • Smartphone
    • Video files
    • AVCHD Camera
