Fades & Crossfades

Fade-Ins & Fade-Outs: all fades in Pro Tools are generated in real time. You can edit your fades, move them around & even audition fades.
Crossfades
Batch Fades
Editing Fades:

Double clicking the fade-in/out area gets you the fades editing dialog box.
You need to set the audition path under I/O settings under set-up menu bar.
Fades preferences under editing.
Arrows will zoom in/out. Command clicking on the arrow will reset the fades.

Editing Crossfades:
- Equal power works better with different types of audio; Equal gain is for similar type of audio.
Fades Preferences: You can set your default fade shapes under Preferences > Editing.
