Stitches In The Eye


If you look closely, you can see stitches in the eye after surgery for a congenital cataract.

A cataract is a general term describing the opacity & loss of sight associated with the denaturation of the proteins in the eye’s lens. Treatment is often the surgical removal or replacement of the eye’s lens. The eye takes 1 month to heal.
