Twin Ridges Home Study Charter School opened in 1993 to provide families that wish to home school with the resources needed to give their children a quality education. The school offers various educational methods and philosophies as well as enrichment classes at their location.

The school does not offer extra curricular activities, sports, or student clubs but does offer resources for students to enjoy these activities. Field trips and other events are scheduled throughout the year.

The majority of parents had positive comments regarding the teachers and staff that help families choose the best teaching methods for their children individually. Students like the school and enjoy learning at home, but do wish they could participate in sports with other students involved in the school.

The Academic Performance Index was not available at this time.

The California Standards Tests is used to learn if students are mastering core subjects. The various tests are given to 2nd through 11th grades in English, grades 2nd through 7th are given tests in math, and science tests are administered to students in grades 5th, 8th, and 10th, while history tests are given to students in 8th and 11th grades.

The percentage of students passing the exams was not available at the time of this writing.
