PPEP TEC – Victor Soltero Learning Center Review

PPEP TEC opened their Victor Soltero Learning Center campus in 2000. The school offers a computer based curriculum and opportunities that you find with other schools in the PPEP TEC group along with highly qualified teachers. On average, the school has 66 students enrolled in grades 10th through 12th grades. The school works closely with students to ensure they achieve their goals and receive a quality education that will ensure they are life long learners as well as being ready to join the workforce or to attend a college.

The major reasons students enroll in the school is the accelerated learning, which allows students to graduate high school in three years. Students can choose to attend school during the day, afternoon, or night classes. This provides those that need to work or are attending another school the opportunity to work on catching up on credits or graduating early.

Parents are pleased with the small class size and the one on one learning the school provides. Most parents expressed the individualized computer based learning was the best for their child.

Each campus offers a variety of clubs or sports, which may include student council, service learning, girl scouts youth leadership, yearbook, LULAC, basketball, soccer, gardening, and prom.

The percentage of students that passed the AIMS series of tests in 10th grade is as follows. In reading 67% passed, 0% in science, in writing 58% passed and in math, 0% passed.

Before enrolling your child in Victor Soltero Learning Center, it would be best to learn more about the math and science courses since no students passed the exams. In order to graduate high school in Arizona all students must pass the AIMS series of exams.
