PPEP TEC – John David Arnold Learning Center Review

PPEP TEC opened their John David Arnold Learning Center campus in 2000. The school offers the same computer based curriculum and opportunities of other schools in the PPEP TEC group along with high-qualified teachers. The administration realized the community needed an alternative to traditional education, as many students were not graduating high school or were doing poorly in the traditional environment. On average, the school has 66 students enrolled in grades 10th through 12th grades. The school takes pride in their unique curriculum, which includes school to work electives.

The school works closely with students on a personal basis to ensure that each student succeeds and receives a high school diploma. The major feature of the school is the accelerated learning, which allows students to graduate high school in three years. Students can choose to attend school during the day, afternoon, or night classes, which is a huge plus for many students and parents.

Parents enroll their children in John David Learning Center since the class size is small and their children receive the personalized instruction they need to succeed and become life long learners while preparing to join the workforce.

Each campus offers a variety of clubs or sports, which may include basketball, soccer, gardening, yearbook, LULAC, girl scouts youth leadership, student council, service learning, and prom.

The percentage of students that passed the AIMS series of tests in 10th grade is as follows. In reading 55% passed, in writing 36% passed and in math, only 9% passed.

Before enrolling your child in John David Arnold Learning center, it would be best to look at the curriculum and learn if the school is the best fit for your family and your child.
