Meadows Arts and Technology Elementary School opened in 2009 to serve students in kindergarten through 5th grades with a charter school learning environment. This environment provides teachers the ability to use a variety of teaching methods and resources that are often overlooked in traditional school settings. The resources used include resource based such as library selections, electronic research, electronic field trips, and community resources. The school curriculum focuses on a challenging arts and technology infused learning environment.

At this time Meadows Arts and Technology Elementary School does not offer any extra curricular activities, sports, or other programs.

The majority of parents are truly happy with the school and the teachers, however, a few complain that the principal is not willing to listen to any concerns or suggestions of parents. Others stated the principal could be rude at times. Student enjoy going to school and like their teachers.

The Academic Performance Index showed academic growth from 926 to 931. The statewide goal is 800.

The California Standards Tests is used to learn if students are mastering core subjects. The various tests are given to 2nd through 11th grades in English, grades 2nd through 7th are given tests in math, and science tests are administered to students in grades 5th, 8th, and 10th, while history tests are given to students in 8th and 11th grades. The percentage of students passing the exams was above average in all grade levels and all courses with most in the ninety percentile.

The school is providing an exceptional education and helping students prepare for the remainder of their school years. If you have any concerns, you should speak with teachers and even administration prior to enrolling your child.
