Career Success – Sage Campus Review

Career Success opened their Sage Campus in 1999 with an average enrollment of 215 students in kindergarten through 8th grades. The school focuses on career based strategies that address self worth, job readiness, and goal setting. The ethnicity of the student body is comprised of 55% Hispanic, 34% White, and 11% unspecified.

Along with the core subjects the school also offers extra curricular activities including dance, computer arts, and newspaper. The school does not offer any foreign languages or sports.

Parents are very pleased with the teachers and staff that are both caring and nurturing while lending a hand to students that need a bit more attention. Communication between administration and parents is on target with parents being informed of both positive and negative information. The classrooms are small with one teacher for every 20 students which is better than many of the other public schools in the area.

A few parents were a bit concerned during the transitional period in 2005; however, today parents are very pleased with the progression and the achievement of their children. Parents have expressed their gratitude for all classes whether special education or gifted as the school caters to the needs of each student individually.

On the other hand, some parents are not as pleased with the staff or teachers. The staff and administration have been referred to as unqualified and unorganized.
