DNA Discovery & Structure

• The series of experiments leading to the discovery of DNA as the genetic material is a perfect example of how advances in science are made. Biologists use information collected previously to answer new questions and solve new problems. Each discovery is a stepping-stone to the next discovery.

• In this Lesson, we'll look at how scientists established that DNA holds the hereditary information and see how the structure of DNA was determined.
